An Examination of Degree Attainment on Reported Physical and Mental Health over Three Decades Author: Dietrich, Ellie Date published: 2025 |
Abstract | The focus of the current research is multifaceted. First, the study examines various sociodemographic factors that impact physical and mental health outcomes. Then, it aims to understand how the factors that affect an individual’s physical and mental health are impacted by the obtainment of a college degree. Further, the research explores if and how these factors of mental and physical health related to degree obtainment have changed across time using three different years (1998, 2008, 2018) of the General Social Survey. |
