Abstract
| A view from street level of the J.S. Medary Saddler Company located on the south side of Pearl Street at 118-120-122 Pearl Street, La Crosse, WI. John S. Medary and various partners (A.H. Davis, Albert Platz) operated a tannery and dealt wholesale in leather, saddlery hardware, saddles, and collars from the late 1800s into the early 1900s. A large set of antlers are displayed over the door to 118 Pearl St. in this photo. The sidewalk appears to be made of planks. The back of a horse-drawn wagon with driver is visible to the right of the building. |
