Abstract	This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on December 9, 1960 with the article "First Sign Developed By LaCro Is Installed." The photograph's caption reads: "A holiday message will be spelled out for G. Heileman Brewing Co. on this new travel-writer sign erected across from Jackson Plaza shopping center. The travel-writer was engineered and manufactured by LaCro Products, Inc. Thomas Collins of Collins-La Crosse Sign Co. is shown working on the sign installation." On the envelope housing the negative is written: "December 8, 1960. La Crosse comeback sign for Heileman's."
