Abstract | This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on November 2, 1960. The photograph's caption reads: "Steeple of the old first Baptist church in the 100 block on S. 6th street was taken down Tuesday. The property recently was sold to the La Crosse Catholic Diocese and the Baptists are building a new church at West Avenue and Main street." On the envelope housing the negative is written: "November 1, 1960. Church steeple coming down at 6th and King - Chirst Church." |
