Abstract
| This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on August 7, 1960 with the article "Reared By Badger Sportsmen - 37 Canada Geese Released In Area." The photograph's caption reads: "These four photos, beginning at left, show Canada geese being caught and then released for the coming hunting season. First photo shows Game Warden Dave Hammes struggling with the geese after driving them into a small pen. Next, Hammes' daughter, Mary releases one of the birds near Red Oak Ridge. Last photo shows geese scampering across water and beginning to fly away."
