Abstract | This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on April 20, 1963. The photograph's caption reads: "Percolating water, possibly from a damaged water main, has caused pavement to sink on State Street near the entrance to Riverside Park. The problem is being checked above by a city police officer. Main Street and Pearl Street entrances to the park are not affected." On the envelope housing the negative is written: "April 19, 1963. Water main Brake foot of State Street going into Park." |
