The photograph's caption reads: "Dairyland Power Cooperative's boiling water reactor will stand on the Mississippi River site just south of Genoa shown in the top photo: Dredging contractor F.J. Robers is filling in the site, most of which has now been completed." On the envelope housing the negative is written: "October 26, 1962. Genoa, WI - atomic plant sandfill."
