Abstract
| This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on August 26, 1962. The photograph's caption reads: "Two La Crosse Eagle Scouts leave Sunday for a six-day Ecumenical Youth Study conference at Lake Geneva. They are George Klody (standing),17, of 2165 Green Bay St., Post 16 of Asbury Quarry Place of the same post. The two were picked in part because of their "God and Country" awards given by the church. They will be the only two at the conference representing the Boy Scout movement. The conference is under the auspices of 34 Protestant and Othodox denominations cooperating through the United Christian Youth movement Expenses of the trip are being paid by the Boy Scouts of America."
