Abstract
| This photograph was published in the La Crosse Tribune on July 1, 1962 with the article "'Our Literary Heritage' West Salem Garden Show Cue." The photograph's caption reads: "Mrs. Linus Roehm, co-chairman of the garden show with Mrs. Gaskill, holds an exhibit keyed to William C. Bryant's book, 'The African Chief.' It is an arrangement by Mary Olson, the black container offset with red cannas and natural leaf, day lilies, hemerocallis, gloriosa, umbulatern lilies and gaillardia."
On the envelope housing the negative is written: "June 27, 1962. West Salem Garden Club - flower show." |
